Q:  What kinds of things can DesktopAnalyzer test for?

A: The validation tests performed may encompass general configuration issues such as hardware and software components as well as external service availability and performance such as connectivity issues. A list of valid test parameters can be found in the online manual.

 
Q:  How are the test results displayed?

A: When the end user opens the DesktopAnalyzer EXE file, a standard window is opened on the end user desktop and DesktopAnalyzer completes its validation.  At a glance, DesktopAnalyzer provides a visual indication as to whether the end user's desktop environment meets the requirements configured in the script file. The end user has complete control over data distribution.

 
Q:  What is code signing?

A: Licensed users of DesktopAnalyzer will receive a license key from Visualware. This file, in addition to the script file are used to sign new executable EXE files. These signed files are unique and the process used to sign the code guarantees secure data transfer and storage.
